This German jewelry retailer is located across the street from DeBeers diamonds. The two stores don’t really compete with one another, since Wempe is better-known for its luxury watches (which it started making from 1878 onward). In fact, Wempe got into the jewelry making business in more recent times (carrying an assortment of rings, pendants, necklaces, earrings, cufflinks and brooches).
Along with its own branded watches, it carries other brands, such as Baume & Mercier, Chopard, Patek Philippe, Breguet, Vacheron Constantin, TAG Heuer, and Rolex.
